1a canzone al giorno

Ieri mi sono sentito la puntatat di DeeGiallo di Carlo Lucarelli dedicata ai Sex Pistols di Sid Vicious e Johnny Rotten. E' bello sentire le storie anche maledette legate al mondo della musica e anche se il punk inglese degli anni settanta non è proprio il mio genere preferito è interessante ascoltarlo e ascoltare quello che rappresentava per quelle generazioni. I Sex Pistols poi hanno anche una storia particolare legata soprattutto al personaggio di Sid Vicious, bassista e uomo da palco. Più il secondo del primo se è vero, come dicono che ai concerti gli abbassavano il volume del basso e in studio suonava un altro perchè era incapace. Ma la sua notorietà è legata alla morte della fidanzata Nancy nell'ottobre del 1978 nella stanza 100 del Chelsea Hotel di New York. Sid ha prima ammesso poi negato poi riammesso e rinegato ancora per diverse volte l'omicidio perchè completamente strafatto. Alla fine è morto per overdose a pochi mesi di distanza e i Sex Pistols sono entrati nella leggenda. Il pezzo che ho scelto è tratto dallo storico album del 1977 "Never mind the bollocks" e si intitola "Holiday in the sun". Se ce la fate.... Buon ascolto....
