Billboard Music Awards: Drake e The Chainsmokers hanno il maggior numero di candidature

Daniel Toshi per RED||Carpet L'edizione 2017 dell'evento si svolgerà a maggio  Sono 22 le candidature che rispettivamente vantano Drake e The Chainsmokers ai Billboard Music Awards del 2017. Questo significa che quasi la metà delle categorie, in totale 50, sono interessate dalla presenza del rapper/cantautore canadese e dal duo di DJ/produttori newyorkese. Più volte nominati sono anche Twenty One Pilots e Rihanna, che hanno 17 e 14 citazioni. The Weeknd compare in 13 categorie, mentre Beyonce in 8. Le candidature sono state espresse in base alle vendite discografiche, allo streaming, ai passaggi radiofonici, al rendimento dei tour e all'impegno sociale degli artisti con riferimento al periodo 18 marzo 2016-16 marzo 2017. I premi saranno conferiti nel corso della cerimonia prevista per il 21 maggio.
