Razzie Awards 2017, il peggio del cinema è rappresentato da Batman v Superman e Hillary’s America

Alessandra Bormio per RED||Carpet Chiamati ufficialmente Golden Raspberry Awards, per demeriti i premi sono stati assegnati nel corso di una cerimonia che si è svolta a Los Angeles sabato 25 febbraio.  Al pari delle candidature, 24 ore prima della consegna degli Oscar sono stati conferiti i Razzie Awards, in questo caso per sottolineare quanto di peggio ha saputo offrire il cinema. L'edizione del 2017 è stata caratterizzata dalla vittoria schiacciante di Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party e Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Il documentario (evidentemente a tema politico) ha trionfato nelle categorie peggior film e regista, mentre Becky Turner (nei panni di Hillary Clinton) e Dinesh D’Souza si sono rispettivamente guadagnatati il titolo di peggior attrice e attore. In 4 categorie ha trionfato anche il film incentrato sul confronto tra Batman e Superman: Screenplay, Screen Combo, Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel, e Jesse Eisenberg è stato giudicato il peggior attore con un ruolo di supporto. Il corrispondente award al femminile è stato conferito a Kristen Wiig per Zoolander 2.
