Assegnati gli American Music Awards 2015. A dominare l'evento è stata Taylor Swift, che ha ricevuto tre premi. Due award hanno interessato One Direction, The Weeknd, e Nicki Minaj.

Nella serata di domenica 22 novembre sono stati asseganti gli American Music Awards 2015. Svoltasi a Los Angeles (California), la cerimonia è stata caratterizzata dalla vittoria multipla di Taylor Swift, trionfatrice nelle categorie Song Of The Year (per Blank Space), Favorite Album - Pop/Rock (per 1989) e Favorite Album - Adult Contemporary (per 1989).

Un paio di award hanno interessato The Weeknd, vincitore nelle sezioni Favorite Male Artist - Soul/R&B e Favorite Album - Soul/R&B (per Beauty Behind the Madnes). Due i premi conquistati anche dagli One Direction, giudicati Artist Of The Yeart e destinatari del Favorite Duo Or Group - Pop/Rock. Sempre due sono stati i riconoscimenti conferiti a Nicki Minaj, vincitrice del Favorite Artist - Rap/Hip-Hop e Favorist Album - Rap/Hip-Hop (per The Pinkprint).
