People’s Choice Awards: nel 2015 trionfano Maleficent, The Big Bang Theory, Ed Sheeran e Taylor Swift

Nelle scorse ore sono stati assegnati i People’s Choice Awards del 2015. Miglior film è risultato Maleficent, mentre la serie The Big Bang Theory ha ottenuto il premio dedicato al programma televisivo preferito. Quanto alla musica, i trionfatori sono stati Ed Sheeran e Taylor Swift. Per meriti umanitari, ha ricevuto un riconoscimento Ben Affleck.

A Los Angeles (California), presso il Nokia Theatre, si è svolta la cerimonia dei People’s Choice Awards. L’edizione 2015 è stata presentata dalle attrici Anna Faris (Scary Movie) e Allison Janney (Mom, Masters of Sex, The Help, Hairspray - Grasso è bello). Nelle categorie riservate al cinema si sono distinti come migliori attori Robert Downey Jr. e Jennifer Lawrence, mentre Maleficent ha ottenuto il premio riservato al miglior film. Nella sezione riguardante la televisione ha trionfato The Big Bang Theory, sitcom a cui sono stati riservati un paio di award. Altri riconoscimenti hanno interessato la serie Grey’s Anatomy, insignita del Favorite Network TV Drama, con premi che sono stati riservati agli interpreti Patrick Dempsey e Sandra Oh. Nella musica si sono distinti Ed Sheeran e Taylor Swift, rispettivamente destinatari di due e tre award. Premiati sono stati anche Iggy Azalea, Maroon 5, 5 Seconds of Summer e Pharrell Williams. Lo speciale Favorite Humanitarian è stato assegnato a Ben Affleck.
