Soul Train Music Award 2014: Chris Brown, Beyoncé e Pharrell Williams plurinominati

Annunciate le nomination riguardanti l’edizione 2014 del Soul Train Music Award. Il nome più ricorrente è quello di Chris Brown, che ne ha ottenute 7, una in più di Beyoncé. 5 volte, invece, è stato citato Pharrell Williams.

Il 7 novembre, per la 28.a volta, verranno consegnati i riconoscimenti del Soul Train Music Award. L’edizione 2014 dell’evento, nel corso del quale si tornerà a sottolineare chi sono stati i principali esponenti della black music nell’ultimo anno, si svolgerà presso la Orleans Arena di Las Vegas (Nevada). Lo show, che in differita verrà proposto ai telespettatori della statunitense BET il 30 novembre, sarà presentato dall’attrice e conduttrice Wendy Williams.

Nel frattempo, sono state svelate le nomination. Nelle 20 categorie di riferimento il nome più ricorrente è quello di Chris Brown, che compare 7 volte (di cui 2 nella categoria migliore collaborazione, per New Flame featuring Usher & Rick Ross e Loyal featuring Lil Wayne & Tyga). Quello di Beyoncé, invece, figura in 6 occasioni. Da sottolineare che la moglie di Jay Z viene inclusa nell’elenco delle contentendenti all’award per la migliore artista femminile R&B/soul. Pharrell Williams ha ottenuto 5 nomination, tra cui quelle per l’album dell’anno (G I R L) e il singolo dell’anno (Happy).
